Virtual Reality in a Storage Closet
On one of our walks, we decided to walk through what appeared to be a non-popular/semi-abandoned mall. We came across a virtual reality gaming shop. So we decided to check it out. We had a blast.
Shanghai is the "Young Wife"
“If Beijing is the old husband, then Shanghai is the younger wife,” said the old man sitting outside the coffee shop. We’d met him minutes earlier. He introduced himself by proclaiming, “You two are so happy. Where are you from?” It was 6:30 AM. We were sitting at an outdoor table next to his, having a cup of tea following our overnight train from Xian to Shanghai. Shanghai was a welcome break. It was much more westernized.
